Description: DALLAS, Sept. 21, 2008 - Greg Stanfield became the second first-time Pro Stock winner in as many weeks when he drove the Attitude Apparel Pontiac GXP past defending POWERade champion Jeg Coughlin in the final round of today's eliminator. Stanfield, a four-time NHRA Super Stock national champion, and a former Pro Stock Truck competitor, became just the fourth driver in the history of the sport to capture a national-event victory in five different categories. Stanfield also becomes the 52nd first-time Pro Stock winner, and he provided Pontiac with its 190th all-time victory in the category (it's 10th win in 2008).
