This maneuver is called spin, it's part of commercial pilot training. The aircraft is stalled, the engine is turned off, and it falls down spinning. During this maneuver, your weight passes from 0lb to about 3 times your weight at the end. The aircraft is a Cessna 150.

Doing a 5 turn spin on a flight lesson in a Cessna 152

This is a little video I made for my sister, Jessica. She loves Uotani (Uo) and so I've put a bunch of random clips together.. it's not super great, but it should make my sister smile.. ^_^

Spin with full power applied just prior to the spin. The power was not reduced to idle until about the second turn. No idea how many times we went around. See if you can keep count. The full power entry results in a flatter and faster rotation, but once the spin is stabilized, the horizontal stabilizer blocks.... more
