This is a Turbine Enstrom Helicopter on the Heli Pad of a Greenpeace ship some where off the coast of Ireland. One of the deck straps has not been released correctly, with what was very nearly disastrous consequence. Pilot skill and quick thinking saved the day.

Yes, it does back flips. It is a Eurocopter BO-105 CBS 4 Twin engine helicopter. Stock model with a Rigid Rotor system, the fixed rotor is why it can do aerobatics. http://www.redbullusa.com

Tail rotor failure during a 540 stall turn. Video was taken in the Dallas area in 1994. 4-cycle TSK 5-Star with an O.S. .48 4-stroke engine. Great flying heli right up until impact. $100 in repairs later and we were up and running.

blasteronline.com is no longer selling this helicopter, but you can locate versions of it on xheli.com and a few other sites. It flies for 5-8 min and charges on the controller in 20-30 min.
